The first move of the Debate Team
This formation was a chance for them to get to know the other teams
Last Friday 25th of January, the Debate team went to theirformational course. After the selection, they all are excited about the imminent contest.
This formation was a chance for them to get to know the other teams and improve their skills and chances of winning.
It consisted on spending the whole day at UIC University with the rest of the groups. They learnt the debate basics and some tricks and advises from experienced professionals.
The students also got the chance to know and test their competitors. This means and advantage for them because at the contest they will not compete blindfolded meaning that they know their weaknesses and what their rivals are best at.
We wish this experience has given them the self-confidence they need for the big day. We will continue reporting as soon as this day arrives.
